SAS_Network Ranks and Responsibilities
In the SAS, rank in the clan can be used to show the number of men you lead or your responsibilities in the clan. The ranking system utilized by the SAS Halo Theater provides a direct order of command to SAS units and provides for the ALPHA Clearance level. The A-Clearance is one part of the Security Clearance every SAS trooper receives. Operators move up their A-Clearance levels at specific ranks within the SAS Ranking System whereas their BRAVO Clearance is moved up based on mission history and player specific details.

NOTE: When an SAS Member is a Sergeant First Class promotable, they are given a choice. They may go to SAS OCS and receive training to become an Officer and be promoted to 2nd Lieutenant or they may stay senior enlisted and be promoted to Master Sergeant.
NOTE: SAS Enlisted responsibilities are shifted down one rank from the US Army. Example (SAS SSG's are PSG's instead of SFC's) and (SAS SFC's are 1SGT's instead of MSG's or 1SGT's). NOTE: SAS Officer responsibilities are shifted down two ranks from the US Army. Example (SAS 2LT's are CC's instead of CPT's) and (SAS CPT's are BN CO instead of LTC's). |
